Businessman Kurt Wilson Enters Race to Represent Brookhaven, District 6
Roswell entrepreneur is a staunch advocate for term limits.
BROOKHAVEN, GA — A local entrepreneur has announced that he is seeking to represent Georgia’s 6th Congressional District seat.
Kurt Wilson of Roswell is a businessman with varied enterprises, including serving as president of the NA Foodservice, a Zaxby’s licensee. He owns a cigar shop and partners a real estate firm.
Wilson said that the November election is a blueprint for change.
“Whether you were for or against President Trump, whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, a Libertarian or an Independent, it is important to recognize and celebrate that President Trump’s campaign proved the out-of-control political machine in Washington, D.C. is, in fact, vulnerable,” he said in a news release Tuesday. “There is hope. There is real opportunity to break into a system that has outgrown its purpose and build a modern, representative government.”
Georgia’s 6th Congressional District includes East Cobb, north Fulton and a swath of DeKalb County that includes Brookhaven.
Wilson would replace U.S. Rep. Tom Price, who is Health and Human Services Secretary-designate, pending Senate confirmation.
